When ENN was started over sixteen years ago we hoped our service would bring attention to the present and future environmental issues facing the health of our planet and the people it supports. Now, in a world where these issues have migrated to the mainstream we are looking forward and asking: what more can we do to help?
As part of this solution, ENN has just entered into a new partnership with RTP Environmental Associates, Inc. an environmental consulting firm based in Northern New Jersey. They develop timely and cost effective approaches for permit application preparation, training, modeling analyses, ambient monitoring needs, as well as testing and analytical services to satisfy all regulatory requirements. This partnership brings to ENN deep, specific expertise and field experience in environmental issues to compliment its 16 years of media and news reporting.
The RTP connection will enable ENN to add new depth to our selection of articles and also to do some article creation such as covering the Department of Interior Public Hearing on Outer Continental Shelf energy futures in Atlantic City last week, and the upcomming Go Green Expo in New York.
Founded in 1978 by a group of scientists and engineers working for the USEPA and private firms in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, RTP was organized to assist industrial and governmental clients, identify and control environmentally hazardous substances, and to prepare and submit environmental permits and impact statements.
RTP now has seven regional centers in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, California, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Louisiana. RTP has offices nationwide.
RTP and myself as one of the Principals at RTP, intend to bring to ENN a depth of understanding about complex environmental reporting and front line expertise that will be unlike that available to any other environmental news organization.
I hope you will take a minute and explore ENN and get to know our services, meet our Partners and make use of what we feel is a critical information source for anyone who cares about improving our world.
