Google recently announced a date for a major change to their search algorithm.  It is going to punish sites that are not optimized for mobile. They have never before given a date to a change their algorithm ahead of the change so the SEO world is saying this will be a major factor in the rankings.

The date is April 21, so any websites that aren’t mobile friendly by then will likely see huge drops in organic traffic after that.
